Controller. Vodexis LLC is the controller for data processed through this website. For engagements contracted with an adviser or firm in the network, that firm is the controller for the data it processes.
What is collected. If you contact us by email we process the contact details and any information you choose to provide, so that we can respond and carry out scope and conflict checks. This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and builds no visitor profiles; the hosting provider records standard technical server logs for security and operation.
Why, and on what basis. To respond to enquiries and perform an engagement (contract); to comply with legal, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations (legal obligation); and to operate and secure the website (legitimate interest).
Disclosure and transfers. Personal data is disclosed only where necessary: to the adviser or firm instructed on your matter, to service providers acting on instructions, and to authorities where required by law. Where a matter involves another jurisdiction, data may be transferred to an adviser there on the basis of appropriate safeguards or your instruction.
Retention and rights. Records are retained for the period required by applicable professional and statutory rules. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests go to chris@vodexis.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Who provides US advice. US federal tax advice given under the Vodexis brand is provided by an independent adviser who is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida, engaged through his own firm and covered by that firm’s professional indemnity insurance. Vodexis LLC is not a certified public accounting firm, holds no licence or firm permit in any US state, and does not itself provide US tax services.
Scope. That adviser’s services comprise US federal tax advisory work and, where separately engaged, preparation of US federal tax filings. Representation before the Internal Revenue Service is a separate engagement undertaken only where expressly agreed in writing. No legal representation is provided.
Nature of written advice. Advice is given on the facts and assumptions stated in it and on the law in force at the date it is given. It is addressed to the client for the purpose set out in the engagement and may not be relied upon by any other person, or for any other purpose, without written consent.
No general reliance. Nothing on this website constitutes advice on which any person may rely to determine a tax position, to avoid a penalty, or to promote, market or recommend any transaction to another party.
Outcomes. Tax outcomes depend on facts, on the exercise of judgement and on the position taken by the relevant authorities. No representation is made that any particular result will be obtained.
